Architecture & Interiors

Crafting a culture of beauty and artistry at 133 East 73rd Street was an invitation for the Milanese interior designer Meroni to draw inspiration from the building’s timeless appeal blended with decidedly modern designs.

ARCHITECTURE AS ART

Set on the Upper East Side, 133 East 73rd Street was erected in 1898 in Neo Georgian and Neo Italian Renaissance styles and is defined by its original limestone and brick facade. Restored with thoughtful craftsmanship, the landmarked building stands out amongst the neighboring 20th-century townhomes with an aesthetic distinctly its own.

The 6-story boutique building evokes a New York City gilded timelessness while the contemporary art deco interiors arouse a culture of art and beauty within the four elevated residences.
